Opened by John Fisher in May 2000, the
Fisher Studio & Gallery in Pittenweem is now in its 13th year. It
shows work by a diverse range of contemporary painters and applied
artists,
most of whom work in Scotland. While the majority of the exhibiting
artists are well established and popular with collectors, the Gallery
also encourages young talented new graduates.
Most of the exhibitions feature work by the resident artist Jan
Fisher with paintings and drawings of the coast and landscape of
the British Isles. She works in oil, watercolour, pencil
and acrylic.
The gallery publishes reproductions of paintings, including
many local
views, by Jan and Anna Fisher,
as framed and un-framed limited edition high quality giclee
prints, available in the Gallery, and also (unframed) from the
website (See Print Pages).
The Gallery is closed from 25 February,
re-opening on 23rd March with the Spring Exhibition. Images
and information will be on line from mid March
Mark Feely who was framing at the Blue Door Gallery has now moved
