| The Fisher Studio & Gallery has a changing
exhibition, showing work by contemporary artists
working in two and three dimensions. The gallery shows well-established artists and
promising young graduates having a diversity of styles and media.
The CHRISTMAS
EXHIBITION opened on November 12th and will continue until New
Year. Work by some of the artists exhibiting is shown below, and on
the Exhibition 2 page.
Craft Work includes ceramics from
Oathlaw Pottery, John Kershaw, Simon Shaw, Vanessa Bullick, Mary
Chapelhow, Maralyn Reed-Wood, and others. Lewis Banks is showing his
enamel work on copper. The clocks and other items made from driftwood
by Gary Brown are always popular, as is the studio glass work of
Sanders and Wallace. Phyllis Cachia is once again showing her
extraordinary faux-painted wooden objects. Nick Holmes is showing photographic
prints, mostly studies around the coastline and beaches of Mull.
We also have a wide selection of framed and unframed giclee
reproductions of paintings by Jan Fisher and Anna Fisher.
We are open 6 days (closed Tuesday)
10am-5pm, from November 12th to January 3rd. During January the
Gallery will be open at week-ends (Saturday & Sunday), or by
appointment, but it is best to phone before making a special trip.
